Step 4 of 5. Select Databases

This wizard screen requires to enter the source MS Access database path and SQL Server database name or path to T-SQL script file. Existing SQL Server database can be processed as follows:

  • Overwrite the entire database
  • Overwrite existing tables only
  • Skip existing tables
  • Merge

If Microsoft Access database is password protected, select "Use database password" checkbox and enter the password in the field below.

Certain migration tasks may require to convert only table definitions of the original Microsoft Access database. Select "Convert table definitions only" checkbox at the bottom of the wizard screen to use this feature.

If you do not want/need to convert indexes select "Skip converting indexes" checkbox.
